The "40 Under 40" Leaders Initiative is a prestigious initiative designed to recognise, empower, and showcase 40 exceptional Muslim leaders under 40 years of age. These individuals are leading impactful organizations or projects, driving positive social change. The program aims to enhance their leadership skills, expand their networks, and amplify their influence for both national and global recognition.
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Be under 40 years of age.
2. Identify as Muslim and actively follow Islamic principles in their daily life, and must also contribute in nation building.
3. Currently lead an organisation, initiative, or project with measurable impact.
4. Demonstrate a proven commitment to innovation, sustainability, or social change.
5. Be willing to engage actively in all phases of the program.
By participating in the program, you will receive:
1. Skill Development: Access to workshops covering leadership, strategy, emotional intelligence, crisis management, and more.

To apply, follow these steps:
1. Complete the Application Form: Available on the program's official website. The form will ask for your personal details, professional background, and leadership experience.
2. Submit an Impact Statement: Write a 500-word description of your work, highlighting measurable outcomes, social relevance, and potential for wider impact.
3. Submit a Vision Statement: Provide a 300-word explanation of how your leadership will contribute to societal change.
4. Portfolio Submission: Upload a portfolio that includes achievements, milestones, media coverage, awards, or other supporting documents.
5. Nomination Letters: Submit letters from two respected individuals or organizations that vouch for your leadership potential.
6. Video Submission: Record and submit a 3-5 minute video answering key questions about your leadership journey and how the program will help you achieve your goals.
The selection process includes the following steps:
1. Initial Screening: All applications are reviewed to ensure eligibility and completeness.
2. Expert Panel Evaluation: A panel of leadership experts will evaluate applicants based on their alignment with Islamic principles, vision, impact, leadership potential, and contribution to nation building.
3. Interviews/Presentations: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview virtual and in-person to present their work and aspirations.
4. Final Selection: The top 40 leaders will be selected and notified via email and social media.

The program is structured into 5 phases:
Phase 1: Selection & Onboarding (Month 1-2): Includes the application process, orientation, and onboarding of participants.
Phase 2: Skill Development & Leadership Training (Month 3-6): Participants undergo hybrid workshops focusing on various leadership aspects and are paired with mentors.
Phase 3: Peer Learning & Collaboration (Month 7-8): Exchange sessions, group projects, and leadership panels for deeper collaboration.
Phase 4: Showcase & Recognition (Month 9-10): A high-profile public event where participants present their work, followed by media coverage and an awards ceremony.
Phase 5: Continuous Engagement (Ongoing): Alumni network, annual check-ins, and an online knowledge hub for ongoing learning and collaboration.
Participants will receive recognition through
1. Public Event: Showcase your work at the "40 Under 40 Leadership Conclave" attended by policymakers, funders, and media.
2. Media Campaign: Profiles and video documentaries of the 40 leaders will be featured across traditional and digital media platforms.
During the program, participants will engage in:
1. Workshops: Covering topics like adaptive leadership, crisis management, digital leadership, emotional intelligence, and Islamic principles in leadership.
2. Mentorship: One-on-one guidance from experienced leaders and spiritual leaders.
3. Peer Learning: Engage in discussions and case studies with fellow leaders, learning from each other’s experiences.
4. Group Projects: Collaborate on initiatives addressing real-world challenges.
The program offers comprehensive support:
Digital Platform: Access to resources, learning materials, mentorship communication, and progress tracking.
Program Materials: Toolkits, reading lists, and worksheets to support your leadership journey.

The application deadline is 31st January 2025. Be sure to submit your complete application before this date to be considered for the program.
The minimum age to apply is 15, and the maximum age is 40 (as of 1st January 2025).
Two Nomination letters from any of these will be accepted: Community Leaders, Local Organisations, professors/supervisors, civic leaders, advocacy groups, and Imams of Local Jama Masjids.
